As reported in Rospotrebnadzor, the department will continue to provide assistance to the African countries most affected by the pandemic. In particular, it is planned to supply Russian test systems, laboratory equipment and reagents necessary for early diagnosis of the new coronavirus, as well as patented mobile laboratories, which are successfully used in a number of countries around the world.

So, in the coming days, tens of thousands of consumables for laboratories will be delivered to Congo, as well as two mobile laboratories that will accelerate research for coronavirus and other infections, including Ebola.

Also, specialists from scientific organizations of Rospotrebnadzor continue to work in the Russian-Guinean Research Center for Epidemiology and Prevention of Infectious Diseases, which is included by the country's authorities in the network of laboratories that diagnose COVID-19.

“Russian test systems and reagents have already been supplied to Guinea for about 7,000 studies. Additionally, another 10 thousand tests will be sent. All studies are carried out jointly by Russian and Guinean specialists in compliance with all biological safety requirements,”the ministry said in a statement.
