The mayor's office promises to pay them 100 thousand rubles a month and provide them with free meals.

As stated in the operational headquarters for control and monitoring of the situation with coronavirus in Moscow, interns will be offered several options for work. In addition to their salaries, they will be provided with free meals and all the necessary protective equipment.
At the moment, students are undergoing express training on working with coronavirus infection on the website of the Continuing Medical Education of the Ministry of Health of Russia. The practice will last from May 1 to May 31.
The initiative to involve medical students in the fight against coronavirus belongs to Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, who announced an acute shortage of medical personnel. Earlier, at a meeting of the Presidium of the Council under the Government of the Russian Federation to Combat the Spread of Coronavirus, Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko noted that the department was ready to consider the issue of more massive involvement of medical students in the fight against coronavirus, who are now working as volunteers. More than 40 thousand specialists graduating from universities and colleges can mobilize, including internship and postgraduate students throughout the country.
