According to the portal “The Future of Russia. National Projects”, in 2019, 36 subordinate reference laboratories were selected for testing export products. Some of them received the right to use the mark on product test reports - ILAC MRA, recognized in dozens of countries around the world.

During a pandemic, laboratories will research the safety of medical products, food and textile products, including essential goods that are imported from abroad or manufactured in Russia. Laboratory test reports confirm the compliance of products with the requirements of the EAEU technical regulations, GOSTs and certain safety indicators.

The list of reference laboratories that will help fight the spread of coronavirus includes 11 points under the jurisdiction of the Rosselkhoznadzor and the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, another 5 - Roszdravnadzor and FMBA of Russia, 6 - Rosstandart and 1 - the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia. Another 8 reference laboratories are supervised by Rospotrebnadzor.
