“Again negative dynamics - more patients are admitted than we are discharging. This is clearly seen in the reports that I and my colleagues - the chief doctors of other hospitals do every day,”writes Protsenko, noting that he and his colleagues hoped for a reduction in the load after the opening of new hospitals in Moscow.
On the eve of the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov, in an interview with CNBC, said that the number of new infections with coronavirus in the country may level out by mid-May.
"Then we expect a gradual decline in the number of infected," added a Kremlin spokesman.
Today, Russia ranks tenth in the world in terms of the number of COVID-19 infected - 62,773 cases. 4,891 people recovered, 555 died.
