The agency has published recommendations for the prevention of coronavirus infection during a pandemic.
It is impractical to wear a mask on the street, in addition, it is useful to breathe fresh air, according to the Ministry of Emergencies. Protection is necessary in crowded places: in shops, pharmacies, on public transport. The mask is also necessary when caring for loved ones who are sick with ARVI or have symptoms of COVID-19.
The Ministry of Emergencies also reminds that a healthy lifestyle increases the body's resistance to infection. Experts recommend getting enough sleep, including foods containing vitamins, minerals and proteins in the diet, and not forgetting about physical activity in self-isolation.
The fact that a protective mask on the street is useless and even harmful was previously reported by the Ministry of Health. Doctors also reminded that disposable masks cannot be worn all the time, as there is a risk of infecting oneself twice.
