Rakova thanked the doctors for their work and spoke about what measures are being taken to combat the coronavirus in the capital. According to her, in Moscow, the re-equipment of individual hospitals continues to receive patients with pneumonia and confirmed coronavirus. At the same time, the burden on Moscow health care has grown significantly.

“Muscovites have not become less ill and, as before, need medical assistance in other fields. Therefore, the double burden falls on both the hospitals of the occupied hospitals, engaged in the fight against the new infection, and other hospitals in the city,”she said.

The official also recalled the importance of responsible behavior of citizens and urged Muscovites to comply with all quarantine measures.

On April 17, Anastasia Rakova announced that 123 more patients have recovered in Moscow after undergoing treatment for coronavirus. She noted the positive dynamics and specified that 2304 people have overcome the disease in the capital.
