In February 2020, in the clinics and branches of the Moscow Scientific and Practical Center for Dermatovenereology and Cosmetology, it will be possible to undergo screening of the six most common oncological diseases.

In February, citizens are invited to undergo free diagnostics of six types of the most common oncological diseases. It will be possible to take part in the screening for early detection of breast, cervical, prostate, lung, and colon cancer in 50 city polyclinics. And Muscovites will be able to get tested for skin cancer at the Moscow Scientific and Practical Center for Dermatovenereology and Cosmetology of the Moscow Department of Health and its 15 branches, according to the official website of the Moscow Mayor.

A complete list of all medical institutions participating in the campaign can be found on the website of the Moscow Department of Health.

For the convenience of participants, the action is held on weekends. In clinics, Muscovites are expected on February 8, 9, 15, 16 and 29. On Saturdays, doctors will be seeing from 09:00 to 18:00, and on Sundays from 09:00 to 16:00. At the Moscow Scientific and Practical Center for Dermatovenereology and Cosmetology and its branches, the action will take place on February 8, 15 and 29 from 09:00 to 16:00.

In polyclinics, doctors will admit patients without an appointment. In order to get an appointment at the Center for Dermatovenereology and Cosmetology or its branches, you must first make an appointment. This can be done by phone: +7 (499) 558-58-28.

Only residents who are attached to the capital's clinics and have a Moscow compulsory medical insurance policy can undergo examinations. Before diagnosis, patients will have to fill out a questionnaire and consult a doctor. If during the oncological screening doctors identify any abnormalities, the patient will be referred for further examination and, if necessary, for an appointment with an oncologist.

Muscovites of any age will be able to visit a dermatovenerologist, examine moles and pigmented skin neoplasms at the Moscow Scientific and Practical Center for Dermatovenereology and Cosmetology or its branches. Diagnostics will help identify such types of skin cancers as basal cell carcinoma and melanoma. The danger of the latter lies, for example, in the fact that in the initial stages, melanoma looks like an ordinary mole.
