The parents of a baby who died during examination at the Regional Clinical Center for specialized types of medical care in Vladivostok turned to the prosecutor's office of the Primorsky Territory. The parents of a baby who died during examination at the Regional Clinical Center for specialized types of medical care in Vladivostok turned to the prosecutor's office of the Primorsky Territory. According to them, the four-month-old child suffocated during the X-ray due to the fact that squeezing the chest for fixation caused him to vomit, reports Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

According to the prosecutor's office of the Primorsky Territory, on December 12, within the framework of the All-Russian Day of Reception of Citizens, the institution accepted for consideration “the application of the parents of a four-month-old child whose death occurred on December 10, 2013 during an X-ray examination at the Regional Clinical Center for Specialized Types of Medical Aid” (Center for Motherhood and Childhood) . The department decided to conduct a pre-investigation verification of the facts stated in the statement.

According to Rossiyskaya Gazeta, the child's death also attracted the attention of the Investigative Committee of Russia. According to the senior assistant to the head of the Investigative Directorate of the ICR in the Primorsky Territory, Aurora Rimskaya, the actions of the radiologist may have signs of a crime under Part 2 of Art. 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (causing death by negligence).
