In the Sverdlovsk region, the former head of the Makhnevsky regional hospital will go on trial. The regional ICR charged a 47-year-old resident of the Alapaevsky district, who is currently the head of one of the departments of this hospital, of negligence, waste and abuse of office.

In the Sverdlovsk region, the former head of the Makhnevsky regional hospital will go on trial. The regional ICR has charged a 47-year-old resident of the Alapaevsky district, currently head of one of the departments of this hospital, of negligence, embezzlement and abuse of office, the press service of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee for the Sverdlovsk Region reports.

The investigation established that the crimes imputed to this person were committed in 2011, when he was the acting director of the Makhnevskaya district hospital.

As the investigation showed, the accused signed acts of acceptance of works after the repairs carried out in the hospital, without making sure that they were fully executed by the contractor in accordance with the terms of the contract. “In addition, exceeding his authority, the accused issued orders to pay to himself, along with other hospital workers, incentive payments,” the ICR reports.

According to the investigation, the illegal activities of the former head of the hospital caused damage in excess of 2 million 700 thousand rubles.

The criminal case was transferred to the court for consideration on the merits.
