The Ministry of Health is going to cancel the temporary standard for the arrival of an ambulance on call. As it became known to the newspaper "Izvestia", in the text of the draft order prepared by the department "On the approval of the procedure for the provision of ambulance, including specialized ambulance, medical care" there is no such norm.
According to the current version of the document, approved in 2004, "ambulance substations are organized with the expectation of 20-minute transport accessibility."
As the press service of the Moscow health department told the newspaper, today the average time of arrival of the state ambulance in Moscow is 16.9 minutes.
According to Izvestia, in addition to the 20-minute standard, the Ministry of Health also excluded from the document the rule according to which patients delivered by ambulance teams are transferred to the admission department of the hospital with a time stamp in the Call Card. Another excluded item is the systematic disinfection of ambulances.
By the time the publication was published, the press service of the Ministry of Health did not provide the publication with a comment on the planned innovations.
